Who I am...
Jackson James Holt - Visionary
Hello, my name is Jack. I am more than just a "graphic designer" I am a visionary that ascends beyond the standard role. I am an artist by nature and I have been creating for more than 30 years. I don't have one specific medium I prefer, I love the freedom of expression and creativity.
I live by a standard and it can't be comprised. When I see a problem or challenge I take the opportunity to figure out the solution and strive to accomplish the goal. When I hear something can't be done I respond back with "challenge accepted". Sit back and watch me ascend.
My true strengths are in illustration and story telling but over the course of my life I have developed the passion for all forms and pursue every aspect of the artistic world. The list is endless and I have dabbled in anything that requires a focus on creative thinking, learning new skills and mastering techniques. From traditional art to building furniture, whatever I see that requires an area of creativity I jump right in.
My Achievements

Working for Madwire, I won and had been nominated on multiple occasions for Design of the Month for my website mockups and design projects including social media, infographics, print, etc... I was also given the position by the head of the department to test new methods and processes to ensure the correct steps were taken to achieve the correct metrics to benefit the design team. I had tested and researched different platforms Madwire had acquired. I gave my professional opinion on whether or not it was a right fit for what the department was looking to accomplish.
My Hobbies and Interests

Outside of being an artist (which are mainly my hobbies) I enjoy spending time with my family and my best friend Hurley. Hurley is an American Eskimo, the canine variety, whom I have had in my life for almost 16 years now and he is an absolute joy. We go on walks and while he is much older now he still has a ton of energy and loves playing with his stuffed toys. My family is very spread out but any chance I have to visit or spend time with them I take full advantage of.

For what I like to do mostly in my free time, I am obsessed with staying busy, coming up with new ideas and story telling. I spend a lot of time practicing and sharpening my skills, working on personal projects and making use of my imagination. I am a character artist and concept artist with a love for fantasy and sci-fi. I'm what some may call a creator of monsters. I spend hours on top of hours sculpting my characters/creations in Zbrush for I love 3D art and it's many applications.
The past few years I've gotten into 3D printing as well. I prefer printing sculpts and models but I have also done engineering projects. After printing a model I enjoy painting them to achieve high quality results for displaying purposes. I have been working on learning to transfer my own personal sculpts I create in Zbrush to a printable form that I can hold in my hands.

When it comes down to it, I love creating just about anything and everything.
